About Us
Saltwater is a bright and beautiful family run seaside restaurant and takeaway offering traditional British Fish and Chips, overlooking the beach in Felixstowe, Suffolk. Saltwater first opened in 2020 offering a delicious and full menu catering for all tastes as well as a large selection of alcoholic and soft drinks to accompany your meal. You can enjoy our restaurant for a relaxed and informal dining experience or visit our takeaway and enjoy your meal al fresco on the beach or gardens opposite.
We always do our utmost to ensure your experience at Saltwater is a great one. As an added bonus you will find included in our kids’ meals free tickets to spend in The Forum arcade which is conveniently located just next door.
At Saltwater, cod and haddock are our most popular species, we currently source these from Norwegian and Icelandic waters. The fish stocks here are actually the fastest growing in the world and are accredited by the MSC. They are continually monitored and managed by fishermen and scientists to ensure sustainability. Our aim is to protect the fish stocks for the future.

Where Do I Park?
There is free parking available on Sea Rd, located ideally in front of Sweetwater.
I am Gluten Intolerant, Do You Have Options For Me?
We serve a range of gluten free fish, as well as gluten free chips, chicken, halloumi and more. See our range in our menu above!
All of these products are cooked in a separate pan from any other products that contain gluten.
Do You Have Options For Vegetarians and Vegans?
We have a range of meat free options including mozzarella sticks, vegan nuggets and battered halloumi.
Are You Wheelchair Accessible?
